Haruto Ito, a passionate sushi chef with a heart as big as the Pacific, opened Sushi Kami. His mission wasn't just to serve impeccable sushi, but to share a taste of Japan with his adopted home. Yet, there was another love that filled Haurto's life: his loyal dachshund companion, aptly named Dat (pronounced dot). Haruto’s legacy lives on in every piece of perfectly formed nigiri and every roll full of  flavor. To honor both his love for sushi and his beloved dachshund, Sushi Kami has reinvented itself, with the new moniker Dat-sushi.
Dat-sushi isn't just a name change; it's a celebration of the spirit that made Sushi Kami special. Hauroto’s tradition continues because of using the freshest local ingredients, crafting each dish with meticulous care, all while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere where pups and people can gather to enjoy a delicious, heartwarming experience.
